September Winners and New DT

I have been itching to do this post and share with you the names of our new Design Team members as well as the winners of the prizes for September.

Firstly I have to thank everyone who applied for the Design Team. You shared some superb artwork and I could have selected so many, but sadly that's just not possible.

There are some changes to tell you about as well. Several of the existing Design Team have stepped down due to other commitments, but I am pleased to say that all have agreed to stay in the sidelines and will be popping up as Guest Designers. Their names are on the sidebar so you can keep tags on them and what they are up to.

So this is the new line up from October,

Brenda - yours truly
Ellie - new DT member
Jules - joined the DT last month
Helene - fellow Allsorts teamie
Maarit - new DT member
Mervi - new DT member
Shirley - new DT member
Zoe guest last month and agreed to stay

Please join me in extending a huge welcome to all the new DT members. Obviously the newcomers won't be able to share their work with you until the November challenge.....I thought it might be a bit of a tall order to ask them to come up with something for tomorrow.....don't want to scare them away before they even start. But you can click on their names to go visit them and get a taste of what wonders they will be sharing with us.

Oh my, after all that excitement, I had better tell you who are the lucky winners for September. Mr Random Org., has strutted his stuff and this is what he came up with in no particular order:

Congratulations to all of you, please mail me brenda@ibas.co.uk with your full postal addresses so I can get your prizes in the post. Please pick up our Top 3 logo....well all four of you actually......and display on your sidebar.

See you all tomorrow for our new challenge and some special news with even more chances of winning a prize.

September Challenge

Hello and welcome to our September Challenge.

We had a really great month in August with some super entries and we want to extend our thanks to everyone who took part. If you have not checked to see if you are a winner, it's all on yesterday post.

Quite a few things to tell you about before I move on to this months winners.

Firstly our search for new DT members will continue into September. Although there have been some stunning entries which is going to make life very hard, I thought this was only fair as the search only started part way through August and some of those that entered the challenge before that time may have missed the announcement. So if you would like to be considered for our team please add PB after your name when you link your work and if you did so last month, please do the same in September, although I will be going back through all August's entries as well. I will announce the lucky peeps at the end of September.

So what's the theme this month....

Punch away

With such fabulous punches available now, it's the perfect chance to get them working. It can be as simple as a single punched element or go really wild, all we ask is that we can see some punching on your work.

Next onto this months prizes and some more fabulous prizes from Penny Black themselves with a bit of cute, some Christmas and some elegance. And don't forget to pop along to Penny Black's website to check out all their products including the stunning selection of new Christmas releases and some great inspiration as well. And don't forget to sign up for their club so you stay right up to date with what is happening, it's totally free and you will be amongst the first to know when new products are released.

I am very excited to tell you that Jules is joining our DT. Some of you will remember she was part of the original Allsorts DT but stepped down due to work commitments, but I am pleased to say she had agreed to come back to us as part of the Penny Black at Allsorts DT. Please join me in giving her a big welcome back.

And we also have a guest designer this month and I am pleased to welcome Zoe. I think it so nice to have a bit of an insight into how people got into crafting and their pet loves and hates, so here's what Zoe has to say:

"Like many if not most crafters have been doing something or another for ever, well almost. The first set of cards that were mine to make were given to me when I was seven and they were Christmas cards complete with little tubes of glitter. Since then there has been knitting, and cross stitch, drawing and painting. 15 or so years ago paper crafting entered my world specifically rubber stamping and that as they say was that. Love all the different directions paper crafting takes you in and how many looks you can get with just one stamp. Then there's the inks and powders and surfaces you can stamp on the journey never ends. My style at the moment tending to the inky grungy style but you can never be sure what I'll do one thing never changes that's the hand made look/feel of my stuff made by me proud of it!

Zoe

And here's what the DT have come up with, I'm sure you will agree they have done me proud again, please do pop along to their blogs to show your appreciation for all their hard work.
